Latest pictures of Edna Harding with a gift from friends

Starlight members  (Irene MacIsaac, Julia MacKinnon,WM, Maxine Smith,PM, Yvonne Fox, PM)had a great visit with Sr. Edna Harding on Thursday in Sydney.

For gifts, the staff advised us not to take any creams or lotions as Edna's skin is very sensitive. She is still knitting and loves candy.
We left a wrapped sleeveless sweater with the staff for her to have a gift to unwrap on Christmas Day.
Among the things we gave her on Thursday was a large stuffed dog which Edna has named Star.
 

 

   

 

News from Starlight Chapter


The second picture is our OES Princess Kailey Jane Helpard, granddaugher
of Sister Marion (Jackie) Welsh.  She was crowned Queen of Scotia Days
on July 21, 2006.


The O.E.S.float for the Scotia Days Parade on July 22, 2006 was a joint
project between Faith Chapter # 54 and Starlight Chapter #66 .  Thank heavens they know about
floats.  On the float was our Princess as noted above and Sister Julia
MacKinnon, WM, Starlight Ch, Brother Ray Horton, acting WP, Sister Ruth
Digdon WM, Faith Ch, and Brother Roy Digdon, WP
